Regina Beach Community Mourns After Fatal Drowning
REGINA BEACH, Sask. — A tragic drowning at Regina Beach on Friday afternoon has left the community mourning after an individual was pronounced deceased following an emergency response in the area.
Emergency crews were called to Regina Beach at approximately 3:51 p.m. for a medical emergency. Regina Beach Fire & Rescue responded, and STARS Air Ambulance was brought in to assist with the emergency response.
According to preliminary reports, the individual was found in the waters at Regina Beach and was later pronounced deceased in what is being treated as an apparent drowning.
Law enforcement and emergency personnel responded to the scene as crews worked to assist those involved.
Investigation Underway
The circumstances surrounding the drowning remain under investigation. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the deceased or additional details about what led to the incident.
